Casual Winter Eye Shadow

This is my everyday look for this time of year using shimmery browns! It's so quick and easy to do.

1. Cover your whole lid in the lighter brown. I like to cover the inner corner of your eye as well to brighten up that region.

2. Apply the darker brown at the outer corner of your eye and along the crease. Applying the darker colour along the crease gives a bit of extra depth so your eyes stand out more. I extend the shadow a bit further than just the lid on the outer edges. This, combined with a cat-flick of eyeliner, really makes your eyes look bigger.

3. Apply eyeliner and mascara!

You can get so many good drugstore eyeshadows. I was using the two brown shades in the Rimmel 'Traffic Stopping Shadow' trio.

The purple is actually really nice to put just under your bottom eyelid to mix the look up a bit - or to use it in the inner corner of your eye as a highlighter.

Overall, this is a nice casual look to wear on an everyday basis! The warm-tones are perfect for this time of year.
