Omnia Crystalline by Bulgari

About 6 months ago I got sent a sample of this fragrance in the post and I instantly fell in love with it. The little vial was empty in no time at all as I wore it every day. I already have another perfume, Flowers by Kenzo, which I use most of the time so I convinced myself I didn't need Omnia Crystalline, but I would look for it every time I was in a fragrance shop and when I found myself in the airport with spare money left after my holiday I just couldn't resist!

The box itself is a shimmery pinky-cream and looks lovely on a dressing table, but it gets better - the contents is even prettier! The bottle is stunningly unique - it looks like two interlinking circles. This is really refreshing when you compare it to conventional bottles. It can be stood upright or laid down (is stable both ways) and is like an ornament in itself. It's hard to show you because of the reflections in the picture, but the bottle is transparent in parts and a very light rose-gold on the rest of it.

In terms of the scent, I'll begin by showing you how the Bulgari website describes it:

Inspired by the precious glow of pure crystal, an enveloping Eau de Parfum of signature depth and richness heightened by distinctive lotus flower, velvety orris concrete and the smoothness of white sandalwood.

Olfactory Family: White Floral WoodyTop Notes: Italian Mandarin, Lotus FlowerHeart Notes: Lotus Flower, Orris Concrete, HeliotropeBase Notes: White Sandalwood, Benzoin from Siam, Musks

This genuinely is one of the best smelling perfumes I've smelt in some time. I love floral scents myself, but I know it isn't something that everyone likes... Even if that's your case, Omnia Crystalline might still suit you! The floral scents in this perfume are very subtle and are mixed with the smoothness of a feminine musk - so they're not overpowering at all. There is a slight sweetness, but it is so delicate. It's one of those perfumes that when I'm wearing it I just can't resist putting my wrists to my nose every 10 minutes just to smell the goodness again!

This is the first fragrance I've ever tried by Bulgari and it's definitely made me tempted to try more. If you get the chance, give it a smell next time you're in a department store! Hopefully you'll love it as much as I do.
