Green People: Fruit Scrub Exfoliator

As you'll get to know if you read my blog, I love skincare and I am always looking for new products to try. Green People is a company that I've just recently found and I was immediately attracted to them because they make natural and organic skincare. In this post I'll tell you a little bit more about them and give you a review of their new fruit scrub which I've been loving!

Like I mentioned earlier, Green People pride themselves on using organic ingredients and the pureness of their products make them ideal for anyone that suffers with sensitive skin. What is so impressive is that they don't use petrochemicals (which often contain impurities and can really clog your pores), SLS (which can really dry out your skin) and ethanol. It's so rare to find products that don't contain these, so you should definitely check Green People out if your skin has reacted badly to other skincare before. They also donate 10% of their profits to charity and they don't test on animals!

Now on to the fruit scrub. In the winter I always feel like my skin is drying out and it gets so much more flakey, which makes applying foundation a nightmare. As a result I like to make sure I'm regularly exfoliating to keep my skin nice and soft! The Green People Fruit Scrub Exfolatior is made with 88% organic ingredients and the fruit component is apricot, mandarin and bergamot. The scent is not too overpowering, but is still really noticeable and I'd call it refreshing! I love that it has bergamot scent because I am a huge lover of Early Grey tea and this is genuinely the first skincare product I've ever used that has bergamot in it - it gives it a unique twist!

The scrub itself is perfect. It's exfoliating ability is really impressive, but it does it in a really gentle way. Lots of exfoliators I've tried before can be quite harsh on your skin, but this one exfoliates much better while at the same time being a lot more tender on your face. The scrub has small seed-like beads - I think it might be the apricot kernel powder - which I've tried to show you in the picture above and these are so effective for exfoliating. After you use the scrub your skin doesn't feel raw or look red, it just feels beautifully soft. It's also really worth the money because a small amount goes a long way! I would highly recommend using this because it's such a soothing way to exfoliate your skin and you can be guilt-free knowing that you're not putting anything nasty on your skin!

This was my first item from Green People, but it's definitely not going to be my last. They also do organic makeup, haircare and even products for little ones! Definitely check them out at their website:
