Flower by Kenzo

Flowers by Kenzo is possibly my all-time favourite fragrance so I thought it was about time I shared this with all of you! Read on for my review...
I first discovered this perfume when I was spending the summer in France when I was 15. I adored the scent, but never actually got it for myself until I was 18.

The Kenzo website describes the fragrance like this:
A sensual powdery floral, a subtle balance built around three accords created by Alberto Morillas. Rose, Violet and Hawthorn sign the floral accord; Vanilla, white Musks and Oppoponax compose the powdery harmony, Pink Peppercorns and Incense, the vibrant note.

The smell reminds me of the sweets, 'Parma Violets' - just without the sugary, sweetness. It has a gorgeous floral tone to it, but the muskiness makes it subtle and a more sophisticated fragrance that can be worn all year around.

The perfume is great quality and remains on your skin for a great amount of time. I can put it on in the morning and still keep smelling it by the afternoon.

In terms of packaging - it's really impressive. The perfume comes in a white box and on each side has a different picture of a single poppy coming into bloom at different stages. The bottle itself is a slightly curved cylindrical shape. It's very simple, with a single flower  ascending up the tube.

I adore this perfume as it can be worn during the day for everyday life, but also is gorgeous for an evening out. This and my Omnia Crystalline (see review here) are my favourite scents that I return to all of the time.

Next time you're out, definitely give this one a smell - you won't regret it :)
