Accessorize 'Exposed' Eyeshadow Palette

This palette was one of my Christmas presents and I have been wearing it every day since! The palette comes with 32 gorgeous, neutral shades and was only £12 in Accessorize. Read on for my review, swatches and look ideas!

In store I was instantly attracted to the adorable packaging. The design has a floral pattern, birds, butterflies and a vintage feel. It's also a great size palette - not too big and nice and slim. The pink elastic band is really convenient as well to keep the palette shut and prevent any harm coming to the beautiful shadows inside!

When I opened the packaging I was just blown away by just how stunning the colours are. This palette is perfect for me because I love neutral colours on my eyes. The 32 colours consist of 24 shimmer shades and 8 matte shades. Personally, I love shimmery looks so I tend to use the matte colours for a base on my eye and layer the shimmers on top. The colours include whites, creams, golds, pinks, browns, dark reds, greys and blacks. This gives a great amount of versatility in terms of the looks you can create - day time looks with the lighter shades and a smokey black/brown eye for the evening! I used the deep red and pinks on Christmas day for a festive look and it really worked well.
The inside also contains a handy mirror for applying on the go.

In terms of the quality of the shadows, you'll not be disappointed. They are so soft and beautifully pigmented. The shimmer transfers really well to your eyelids so you don't lose that glamorous feel. I'm including some little swatches of some of my favourite shades:

To give you a feel for the pigmentation, to get the pictures above I only had to press very gently on the colours to get huge pay off.

Like I said earlier, I've been wearing this palette non-stop so here are two looks I've created recently (apologies for the lighting differences!):

These looks were just sticking to browns because I was going for quite bright lips - but you'll be sure to see some of the other colours in some of my future eye-shadow posts!

If you see this palette when you're out and about then I would really encourage you to get it - it's great value for the amount and the quality of eyeshadows that you're getting.
