Stila is a brand that I've heard so many great things about, yet have never tried myself. I decided it was time to see what the fuss was about and purchased my first Stila product - an all over shimmer duo which includes the infamous 'Kitten'. Read on to hear my thoughts...
These powders are multi-purpose in that they can be applied where-ever. My initial thoughts were to use it as a highlighter, but the shades are perfect for an every-day eye-shadow look or for subtle colour on the cheeks.
As you can see, the colours are pigmented enough to work as an eyeshadow or as a highlighter if strategically placed, but when blended in, or loosely applied with a powder brush, they would produce a gorgeous natural glow to the face. I'd also be confident that this duo would work for the majority of skin tones as you can use either shade individually, or mix together for a shade that suits your skin tone.
In terms of my own experience using this compact, I've been really impressed with the quality of the powders. They're so smooth to the touch and not at all chalky. They apply incredibly easy and the lasting power is considerably better than what I've experienced before with powder highlighters.
If the other make-up by Stila are as good as this one, then I can't wait to give them a try! What's your favourite Stila product?
